The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst will participate in software development life cycle by: Creating test strategies/plans, decision tables, scenarios and cases, test summaries and other related testing related documentation Executing test plans, scenarios and test cases Developing and executing complex test cases from use cases Interpretation of business requirements and creation of traceability matrix Creating, maintaining and executing manual test scripts Creating and validation of test data Analyzing system functionality and identifying defects Reporting test results into defect tracking system Updating daily and weekly test completion status Communicating status to the Software QA/Project Manager and proactively working to resolve any issues Participate in project meetings, design and analysis walkthroughs Job responsibilities are in support of testing mid-range conversion from AS400 to UNIX platform Requirements: Skills: 3+ years Quality Assurance experience in testing mid-range applications Ability to write and execute test plans and test cases with minimal guidance Ability to document precise and concise defect reports and test results Ability to interpret and analyze business requirements Understanding of and experience with all types of testing including functional, regression, system, automated, load, destructive and smoke.
