I have an urgent need with a client in the Chicago area. The resource *MUST
HAVE GREAT COMMUNICATION SKILLS.* Can you please take a look at the

*Position:* Sr. Front End Developer (UI / HTML)
*Location:* Chicago, IL (Off of Wacker-downtown)
*Duration:* 1 year + contract
They need to bring someone on ASAP!
*Client:*
- The leading provider of digital education resources to our nation’s
schools (50% schools nationwide)
- Provider of media-rich programs that engage, inspire and activate
students (~35 million students)
*The Development Team:*
- A true team – They collaborate, pair, review code, discuss solutions
- Agile – They work on iterative delivery rather than full project
delivery
- Their code is released weekly
- True multi-taskers
- They follow strict standards and focus on writing efficient reusable
test-driven code
- Constantly look into new emerging technologies and ideas
- Code optimization for faster page rendering time and speedy execution
for our high-performance consumer-facing application
*Requirements:*
- Expert knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
- Expert Javasrcipt programming skills, including:
- Javascript UI frameworks (jquery, ext/sencha, zepto, dojo)
- Javascript MVC frameworks (angular, backbone, knockout, ember)
- Mobile development experience (native, cross-platform, responsive,
phonegap)
- Experience with Javascript unit testing (jsunit, jasmine, testacular)
- BA/BS in Computer Science, UI Design or related field
- Version control experience (SVN, Git)
- Automated testing experience is a plus (Selenium)
*Keys to the role:*
- Must be able to develop Javascript code from scratch (Doesn’t rely on
Jquery libraries)
- Must have coding samples or portfolio (GitHub)
