Position: *Linux Platform Engineers* Location: Framingham, MA Duration: 3 Months CTH F2F after the phone screen
Looking for 6-7 years Linux experience, it is an engineering role they work on a satellite server, Red Hat Linux, clustering software. Need candidates who can be put in front of managers to explain issues. *Description:* Work collectively with a multi-discipline team to plan and implement highly visible Retail and eCommerce projects, ensure stable operation of Linux server environments, and provide guidance and direction on future technologies related to Linux. Staples current Linux environment consists of over 2900 servers distributed across multiple data centers and remote sites. *Primary Responsibilities * Plan, install, configure, support, and optimize Linux server systems, network connections and communication links Design and implement system to system interconnectivity with high availability and fault tolerance, as well as Domain authentication and various services Delivering 3rd level support while maintaining a strong connection with the broader Linux engineering team Work on high impact enterprise wide projects Responsibility for reporting and metrics related to services and projects in the Retail and eCommerce space Basic Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or 8 years of relevant experience Minimum of 6 years of experience supporting Linux Servers in a large corporate setting Experience must include RHEL 6.x, 5.x, Scripting (Bash, Python, and/or Perl), and VMWare *Preferred * Red Hat certification (e.g. RHCSA, RHCE, etc.) Must have Demonstrated experience with: -Red Hat Linux -RPM Development -Microsoft and Veritas clustering -Satellite Server -VMWare ESX tools e.g. VMotion and Virtual Center -Monitoring tools e.g. HP OpenView or NetIQ -Qualys or other scanning and remediation compliance tool skills -HP Proliant and Blades as well as Dell server hardware technologies -Symantec suite of storage and high availability software -PCI/SOX and other compliance requirements -ITIL Change Management Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills; technical documentation Demonstrated problem solving and root cause analysis skills, including diagnosing performance and capacity issues *reply to* *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *HABEEB* Addon Technologies, Inc 734-956-4737 Ext: 160 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
