*Title: Linux Systems Engineer (Locals Prefered)Location: Santa Monica, CA.Duration: Full time* *Description:* •Our new Linux System Engineer will work with our operations and development team resources to implement and maintain their service platform, LAMP and J2EE applications. These platforms are based •on Red Hat and Oracle Enterprise Linux servers running in VMware. •Day-to-day, our systems administrator will be responsible for building and maintaining the high- •availability 24/7 J2EE application. All infrastructure initiatives within the company that involve JBoss, •Tomcat, Apache, Monitoring, Oracle, MySQL etc. will fall under their purview. •The right systems administrator candidate must be able to recommend and implement best practices for highly available LAMP, WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat environments. They should have strong hands-on knowledge of Linux and configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef or Salt.
