ICAR primarily serves the Child Support Recovery Unit (CSRU) and is one of the bureaus under the DHS Divisions of Data Management. This senior IT developer will function within a team of dedicated web developers. Responsibilities include:1. Serve as a Technical lead on projects from concept through the post-implementation stage of the Software Development Life Cycle.2. Serve as a Programmer/Developer on projects lead by other Technical resources3. Work on New Development, Maintenance Projects, Testing, Requirements/Specifications creation, Problem Logs etc.,Other required skills: Ability to work in a team environment and experience with Microsoft Office products.Ability to transform business requirements through functional/technical analysis into technical specifications and design;Ability to build application programs based on technical specifications, test and implement systemsAbility to support the SDLC process through post-implementation Support. Good verbal & written communication. Ability to logically analyze complex processes & programs. Ability to understand business processes & to be customer focused. Experience working in both traditional and agile development environments. Demonstrated experience developing complex transactional applications using role-based security management.Demonstrated ability to perform development tasks in the above areas is required. Hands-on programming experience with ASP.net, VB.net, Object Oriented programming, Visual Studio Team Edition, Team Foundation Server Required 5 Years Hands-on programming experience with .Net Framework 2.0 and above; Java Script, jQuery, JASON, VB Script, Web Services and XML Required 5 Years Hands-on programming experience with application developement within a Service Oriented Architecture. Required 5 Years Strong T-SQL skills with extensive query and stored procedure developement with SQL Server 2005 or above. Required 3 Years SQL Database design/developement Required 3 Years Experience with SQL Server Intergration Services (SSIS) using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or above Required 3 Years Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or above. Required 3 Years The ability to provide direction and mentoring to other developers on project using the tools described above Required 2 Years Ability to perform Web/SQL development tasks relating to the support, maintenance, and implementation of new and existing applications.
