*Description of Project:
*The new candidate will work closely in Banking *Integration Engineering
(IE)* Build Engineering practices area and work with the development teams
to understand and support builds, environments and integration requirements
for applications developed in ISD (Internet Services Development), validate
builds/environment in SIT (System Integration Testing), and facilitate
rolling out Builds and Environment changes to other environments. So the
position supports multiple application development projects.
*Day to Day Activities:*
The candidates are expected to provide technical guidance and consultation
for web systems Builds & Environments. Leads projects associated with web
and/or e-commerce application installations, upgrades and deployments
including designing and testing multiple tier servers to meet growth or user
requirements and assures existing systems are not negatively impacted.
The Integration engineer will work within the Platform Engineering practices
area and work closely with the development teams to understand, engineer and
support infrastructure and platform level changes, environments and
integration requirements for applications developed by Internet Services
Development (ISD), validate environment changes in preparation for System
Integration Testing (SIT), and facilitate rolling out environment and
configuration changes to other environments such as QA and Production.
*Must Have Experience/Skills:-*
5-7 years technical background and 5-6 years directly related web
engineering experience.
5+ years of experience in the System Administration and Infrastructure
Engineering, preferably in Integration Engineering and/or Platform
Engineering area.
Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences or other technical discipline
2+ years of experience in Oracle (BEA) Web Logic administration,
configuration and support.
2+ years of J2EE experience, with knowledge in clustering, JMS, Connection
Pools, J2EE Deployments, Thread Dump Analysis.
2+ years of experience in Linux and/or Solaris and Windows production
environment is required.
2+ years of experience in Microsoft’s .Net technology administration,
configuration and support in a web environment.
2+ years of experience working on capacity planning and performance tuning
of J2EE applications and .Net applications and platforms.
Familiarity with *Open Financial Exchange* (OFX) protocol and related
technologies.
