The AMS team provides maintenance and support services for over 80+ agency business applications, in a variety of technologies. This position will primarily work with Oracle Forms and Oracle PL/SQL. Additional work in classic ASP, VB6 and MS Access technologies may be required. Specific duties are outlined below in the task list.Tasks- Provide maintenance, enhancement and support for a variety of the agency’s business applications.- Assisting in the preparation and documentation of program requirements and specifications.- Research and document requirements of program users.- Writing, translating and coding software programs and applications according to specifications.- Assisting in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines.- Working with network administrators, systems analysts and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems.- Providing mentoring and guidance to junior programmers.QualificationsThe Consultant must meet or exceed the following qualification requirements:Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):- 6+ years’ experience with Oracle Forms and PL/SQL- Knowledge of relational and object-oriented database designs.- Knowledge of object-oriented design methodologies.- Knowledge of Information Systems Development Methodology (ISDM).- Knowledge of database security, including role-based security. - Ability to be creative, to use sound judgment, and to display foresight to identify potential problems and design/specifications and assigned application software systems.- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.- Ability to work independently.- Ability to determine work priorities and ensure proper completion of work assignments.- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):- 4+ years’ experience in Classic ASP- 4+ years’ experience in VB 6- 4+ years’ experience in MS Access- Experience using Subversion.- 2+ years’ experience in Java Frameworks such as Struts/Tiles, Struts 2, Servlets/JSP, JPA/Hibernate- Knowledge and experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML).- Experience using Maven 2 and/or 3- Familiarity with Agile development practices, specifically SCRUM and Kanban.- Familiarity with environmental regulatory business processes and practices.- Knowledge and understanding of DEP’s technical environment.* *Please send resume to s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com> * *Thanks, Sam CNC Consulting, Inc. 201-546-3096 s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
