*Job Title: Cloud Services Engineer * *Location: Fort Worth TX* *Duration: 6+Months * *Summary:* · Design, configure, and support virtual machines in multiple public cloud environments for both intranet and Internet facing applications using virtual private cloud mechanisms. · Responsible for creating installation templates, deployment scripts, documentation, and troubleshooting for virtual systems hosted within public cloud environments. · Must be capable of working with multiple managed service providers to provide guidance on the deployment of virtual machines using the templates this candidate created and acting as an escalation point for issues involving operational support of the cloud hosting environments. · Must be adaptable and capable of creating automation scripts using a variety of system management tools. *Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: * · Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve remote system problems in public cloud hosting environments · Implementation of automation tools for VM deployment and lifecycle management · Resolve system outages involving multiple IT disciplines for systems, security, networking, and database connectivity · Implementation of network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware · Monitor system performance over time *Responsibility level * · Builds templates used to create virtual machines that are used to run American Airlines operational systems · Directs the activity of multiple managed service providers to deploy and support virtual machines on demand · Uses ITIL compliant change management ticketing system to request and accept work · Troubleshoots advanced problems with both Production and Non-Production systems as necessary · Creates automation processes using multiple management tools *Skills:* · Orchestration / Automation skills: VMware vRealize Automation or vCloud Director · Configuration management skills: Puppet Enterprise, System Center Configuration Manager, or Ansible · Scripting including PowerShell for Windows, shell scripting for Red Hat Linux, Python, or Ruby · Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills · Expert ability to work both directly with customers/end-users and with other operationally relevant internal teams · Expert ability to work independently and manage one’s time · Customer service experience to handle problem resolution and deployment problems with internal IaaS customers with varying degrees of cloud exposure · Expert ability to identify, interpret and evaluate system and network requirements · Expert knowledge of computer hardware and software as it related to LAN/WAN · Working knowledge of cloud platform administration interfaces, including web-based Graphical User Interfaces and Application Programming Interfaces · Familiarity with both native and 3rd party mechanisms for securing data in public cloud platforms *Qualification Rating Must Have* · Cloud experience min 2 Yrs. · Experience in programming or scripting (.NET, C#, Java, vbscript, etc) min 5 Yrs. · Red Hat min 3 Yrs. · Tiered Architecture min 5 Yrs. · VMware Automation min 2 Yrs. · Windows Server 2008 R2 min 3 Yrs. *Education/Experience * · Bachelor degree in computer science preferred or equivalent experience. · 2+ years Amazon Web Services, Rackspace, SoftLayer, Verizon Cloud, or other Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) public cloud provider experience required · 6+ years Systems Administration or Engineer experience required · Microsoft Windows Server certification preferred · Red Hat Enterprise Linux server certification preferred *Thanks & Regards,* * Naresh* Recruiter *Tech- Net Inc* Email: [email protected] Phone: 916.221.3043 , 916.458.4390 EXT : 103 101 Parkshore Dr. Suite #100, Folsom, CA 95630 web: http://www.tech-netinc.com *A WMBE certified company* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
