Job Title: .Net Developer

Duration: 6 months
Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding,
testing, debugging and documenting programs. May require an associate's
degree in a related area and 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a
related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and
procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and
pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under
immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require
exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a project leader or
manager.
SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
THIS PURPOSE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO SUPPLEMENT THE SCDMV .NET PROGRAMMING
STAFF TO IMPLEMENT A NUMBER OF INITIATIVES INVOLVING BOTH ENHANCEMENTS AND
FIXES TO THE SCDMV PHOENIX II SYSTEM. THIS WILL ALSO INVOLVE MOVING
STANDALONE VB.NET APPLICATIONS TO A WEB BASED APPLICATION.
CONTRACTOR(S) WILL REPORT DIRECTLY TO THE .NET DEVELOPMENT MANAGER DURING
THE COURSE OF THIS ENGAGEMENT AND WILL BE PART OF A 3 MEMBER TEAM OF
CONTRACTORS WORKING TOGETHER TO BECOME FAMILIAR WITH THE SCDMV APPLICATION
SYSTEMS.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. ANALYZE THE SCDMV PHOENIX II AND WEB SERVICE APPLICATIONS
2. TAKE THE LEAD IN ANALYZING AND TROUBLE-SHOOTING ASSIGNED SYSTEM PROBLEMS
3. PROPOSE SOLUTIONS
4. CODE, TEST, PROMOTE, AND INTERACT WITH IMPACTED USERS ENSURING THAT
SOLUTION MEETS REQUIREMENTS.
5. PROVIDE DAILY AND WEEKLY STATUS TO THE .NET DEVELOPMENT MANAGER.
