Two (2) years of experience serving in the capacity as an Oracle database administrator (DBA) Two (2) years of Oracle database development experience (i.e., versions 11g (required – 12c desirable) Experience in installing, configuring, administering, tuning and troubleshooting Oracle database products and features for various application suites in Solaris and Unix/Linux environments. Experience analyzing data requirements, defining DB architecture, documenting technical design, testing databases and proposing solutions that meet the enterprise framework, standards and industry best practices.. Transitioning data between development/test/QA/production environments, recovering database files and performing database reorganizations as necessary. Strong understanding of database structures, normalization, principles and practices Ability and availability to provide on-call support (night and weekends) if needed.
