Position   :   Peoplesoft Admin with WCAG background
Location  :   Minneapolis, MN
Duration  :   6 -12 Months


*Skills and Experience Required :*

   - We are looking for a resource to be part of a team that includes
   people with a range of knowledge and experience, including PeopleSoft,
   accessibility, and application development.
   - This person will be expected to assist in testing, verification, and
   remediation.
   - More importantly, he or she will be expected to generate documentation
   and artifacts, and train and support University staff to ensure the
   sustainability of the accessibility features after implementation.
   - Verify vendors’ accessibility test results using accessibility testing
   software and a manual verification with assistive technologies:
   - Evaluate keyboard and onscreen keyboard functions/features such as
   built-in OS Windows’ functions for sticky keys, high contrast mode, etc.
   - Perform compatibility testing with assistive technologies such as JAWS
   - Where appropriate, recommend an alternative design approach to help
   resolve accessibility issues and improve overall user experience.
   - Report accessibility issues into the issue tracking system
   (SalesForce) with recommendations on remediation.
   - Work with application development vendor and University accessibility
   team to track reported issues through to completion.
   - Reevaluate iterations of development as necessary.
   - Report and track new issues.
   - In consultation with team, close issues as appropriate.
   - Work with University accessibility, business analyst, and IT teams to
   develop and enhance University software testing capabilities for the
   long-term sustainability of this project.
   - Prepare and maintain testing templates, test documentation, and test
   scripts.
   - Execute tests and document results.
   - Work with UMN accessibility and IT teams on test automation, and
   identifying WCAG criteria best suited and most practical for test
   automation.
   - Web accessibility knowledge, including knowledge of WCAG success
   criteria
   - Experience with formal software development and testing methodologies
   - Strong communication skills
