*Hiring: QA Analyst w/Heath Information Systems / Brooklyn, NYDirect ClientJob Title: QA Analyst w/Heath Information SystemsLocation: Brooklyn, NYDuration: 6 MonthsDirect Client PositionDescripation:Systems Testing Analyst DutiesReporting to the Senior Director, Application Development, the Testing Analyst is responsible for the development and delivery of a comprehensive set of testing scripts associated with the implementation and upgrade of clinical and business systems within SUNY Downstate Medical Center. In addition, the position will oversee day to day activities associated the configuration, testing, user/IT training, report development and go-live activities. The analyst will work in concert with a project manager to insure timelines and project budgets are adhered to throughout the implementation process. The analyst will be responsible for alerting the project manager of any anomalies associated with the implementation that should be brought to the attention of senior management as a result of the system’s testing process. In addition the analyst will work in concert with the IT technical staff to insure a proper operating environment is established to support the successful testing of applications? Provide expertise and leadership skills to participate as a member of a project team and ensure project and organization's goals, philosophies, and objectives are optimally supported by information technologyAssist with the creation and execution of project plans, contributing to remediation plans when requirements and/or timelines changeContribute to the planning and scheduling of project timelines and milestones using the appropriate toolsManage day-to-day operational and tactical activities associated with application testing and interoperability between applicationsDevelop and deliver Progress Reports, Proposals, Requirements Documentation and PresentationsDiagnose task/procedural change issues and helps to resolve the problemEnsure that Project documents are current and complete, as well as appropriately managed and storedContribute to project post mortems and creates Lessons Learned reports to identify Project elements that were both successful and unsuccessfulProduce project status reports as defined by project managerCommunicate difficult and sensitive information tactfullyCommunicate relevant Project information to superiorsEffectively apply the company's Project Management and Software Development Lifecycles methodology and enforces Project standardsMinimize exposure and risk on a ProjectEnsure timely completion of Project level tasksAssist in the identification of resources neededDeliver informative and well-organized presentations to the Project Team and ManagementPerform all other related duties as assigned Qualifications5+ years of experience working all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle5+ years of experience data gathering/performing system analysis and developing/writing system requirements3+ years of experience in billing/accounts receivable software implementation.5+ years of experience in a hospital business office environment.Proficiency with developing requirements and identifying and documenting workflowsExperience working with test plans and test cases Required SkillsHIM project delivery experienceProficiency with MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)Proficiency with MS Project and MS VisioExperience with any of the following systems:Epic Resolute/CadenceAllscripts SCMMcKesson ParagonMeditechCerner (ProFit, Soarian)GE CentricityKnowledge of Client-Server Technologies and Network Operating Systems, Network architecture, configuration, and protocols.; Network Communications technology- TCP/IP, DNS, and Internet Required EducationBA/BS DegreePlease send resume to [email protected] <[email protected]>*
