*Role: Sr. TAM/Security Consultant *
*Location: Lakeland, FL*
*Duration: 3+ Months extendable*
*Rate: BEST + Expenses *
Need someone who can do *TIM 5.1 to SIM 6.0 Upgrade*
*IdM Upgrade Assistance*
- Participate in a project kick-off meeting with the Project Manager to:
- Understand objectives for the project;
- Review the IT environment where the IBM Security product(s) will be
deployed, upgraded and/or migrated;
- Identify the customer technical personnel who will work with IBM
during the project.
- Assist with review of current upgrade/migration plans and identify
alternative approaches based on IBM recommended practices, as appropriate.
- Assist during your revision of the upgrade/migration plan.
- Assist with installation and base configuration of a net new instance
of ISIM in the non-production environment(s) for testing purposes,
according to the upgrade/migration plan.
- Assist with installation and base configuration of new instances of
supported middleware components:
- IBM Security Directory Server;
- IBM Security Directory Integrator;
- IBM DB2 Database.
- Assist with migrating existing configurations from the ITIM system to
ISIM.
- Assist with testing and validating the new ISIM non-production
instance(s) based on customer’s test plans and test cases.
- Assist with the ITIM Production upgrade/migration to ISIM v6.0,
including:
- Install and configure a new ISIM server instance(s);
- Migration to a new ISIM server instance with latest fix packs;
- Upgrade or migrate supported middleware components according to the
established plan;
- Assist with testing and validating the new ISIM Production instance
based on customer's test plans and test cases;
- Assist with the cut-over to the new ISIM Production instance;
- Assist with updating existing deployment or operations documentation
in support of the upgraded ISIM solution.
