Positions: 1 Sr. AI/TE & 2 Jr/Mid level AI/TE
Location: 6 months in Radnor, PA than moves to Center City Philadelphia for
the remainder
Duration: 12 to 24 months
Rates: Sr. - $50 an hour
Jr. - $40 an hour
Description:
- This is a long term Contract, 1 yr probably 2 yrs.
- QA There is a senior spot and 1-2 jr level spots.
- *MUST HAVE INDUSTRY experience. They want people out of Samsung, Cisco,
Motorola, any Telco, AT&T Verizon, Time Warner. *
- Thorough understanding & experiences in system software testing
methodology, especially in *cable/Telecom/IP industry*.
- *Hands-on experience with white-box & black-box testing.*
- Lead in capacity as senior level system integration and test engineer.
- Review and analyze technical requirements & system documents.
- Understand the technology.
- Interact with various groups & stake holders to determine appropriate
test strategies and action plans.
- Validate and verify applications in an integrated end-to-end environment.
- Create test requirement, use cases, & test plans.
- Create, execute, and report on test scripts/cases.
- Experience with test automation is desired.
- Coordinating integration & test activities among test team members and
stake holders in other functional groups.
- Lead application integration team to resolve all relevant technical
issues to ensure timely execution & high quality completion of all
integration & test activities.
- Partner with development and product teams to identify product and
technical requirements to create a comprehensive test suite.
- Interact with various groups & stake holders to determine appropriate
test strategies and action plans.
- Comfortable & experience with in fast paced Agile development process.
- Strong ability to successfully drive and execute work in a dynamic
environment.
- Experience with successfully working with offshore resources.
- Deep technical expertise in integrating applications in cable and IP
environment
- Proficiency with Motorola and/or Cisco networks
- Hands-on experience of *integrating applications on OCAP platform*
- *Familiar with CableLab OCAP standard & certification process*
- Hands on *knowledge of DOCSIS* standard & certification process
- *Configuration of CMTS for DSG communication*

- Understand various *Capable of configuring network switches & routers for
IP datagram and video delivery* protocols.
- *Experience with TCP/IP, UDP, SSL, firewall, DHCP/DNS*
- Experience with network sniffing & test tools
- Strong knowledge of QA test processes including test planning,
development, execution, and results reporting. Strong technical written and
verbal communication
