*We are currently looking for an Integration Engineer for a 6 month contract
in San Francisco, CA.*
*Role Description*
The Integration engineer will work within the Platform Engineering
practices area and work closely with the development teams to understand,
engineer and support infrastructure and platform level changes, environments
and integration requirements for applications developed by Internet Services
Development (ISD), validate environment changes in preparation for System
Integration Testing (SIT), and facilitate rolling out environment and
configuration changes to other environments such as QA and Production.
*Minimum Qualification*
- 5-7 years technical background and 5-6 years directly related web
engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience in the System Administration and Infrastructure
Engineering, preferably in Integration Engineering and/or Platform
Engineering area.
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences or other technical discipline
*Required Profile*
*- 2+ years of experience in Microsoft's .Net technology
administration, configuration and support in a web environment.*
- 2+ years of experience in Linux and/or Solaris and Windows production
environment is required.
- 2+ years of experience working on capacity planning and performance
tuning of .Net applications and platforms.
*Desired Skills *
- Experience in Clear Case or other SCM products.
- Working experience with SUN N1SPS is a big plus.
- Experience with Big-IP F5 and load-balancing.
- Java and C# development skills.
This is an engineer type, not a developer or an architect. Hands-on
experience is more critical than design skills. However, our shop follows a
RUP project methodology, and we use UML extensively to document project and
deployment designs, so experience with same will be helpful.
