*Title: MS SQL DBALocation: San Francisco, CADuration: Full timeInterview process: Phone, Skype & F2F required.* *Skills: ETL, MS SQL, JAVA, QA, DBA, IT OPS, PROD, DEV, SSAS Cubes, SSIS, data warehouse* Responsibilities: MS SQL DBA/BI Developer who can work with database administrator, IT management, and business users to understand company data needs, maintaining data integrity, help DBA’s manage data, follow company data retention policy and support internal database systems. •The responsibilities of this position will include the design, development and distribution of reports to company executives, underwriting managers and other users to support company reporting and analytic needs from data warehouse. •Continuously exhibit and uphold Core Values of Integrity, Accountability, Communication and Teamwork, Innovation and Customer Service. •Work with development, QA, Release and database team to review production and business user databases to ensure data integrity across databases. •Work with DBA to review and delete / archive old production submission and imaging data following company guidelines on data retention policy. •Monitor, deploy and support analytic/OLAP tools to meet company reporting requirements. •Partner with Business Analysts, Database Administrators, and developers to build data marts to support changing business needs. •Participate in Data modeling, ETL process, creating ERD. This will include identifying and verifying data requirements for any developmental project that creates, alters or deletes submission, policy claim data •Participate with DBA and IT OPS staff to keep production, UAT, dev and sandbox database in sync. For effective application QA and user testing. •Participate in operational process on daily, weekly, monthly, yearly basis. •Participate in weekend support. •Participate in backup and recovery process. •Deploying, processing and maintaining SSIS/Cubes from DEV, QA and PROD. •Ability to configure and troubleshoot MS SQL Server Memory management, security, configuration and infra related issues.
