Role: Cisco Network Engineer Location: Harrisburg, PA Duration: 6-12 Months PSP is in need of a Cisco Network Engineer to work as a member of a two person team communicating, coordinating, and troubleshooting with local police departments and other agencies that connect to the PSP CLEAN system to help those agencies make networking changes required to connect to the new version of PSP’s CLEAN system. It is a large effort, with hundreds of outside agencies needing this assistance. Candidates must have EXCELLENT communication skills and troubleshooting experience, as well as experience with CISCO Advanced Security functions, crypto maps and IP Access Control Lists (ACLs) to be considered. ***This position requires a Fingerprint-based background check be successfully passed by the selected resource for that resource to be able to begin in the position. *** Technical Duties – Ability to discuss technical details to non-technical personnel. Ability to discuss, diagnose and document network connectivity solutions. Hands on command and technical experience with CISCO 2811 Integrated Services Routers and IOS, 2800 software (C2800NM-ADVSECURITYK9-M) Version 15.0(1)M2 Release Software (fc2). Experience with CISCO IPSEC functions, crypto maps, and IP access control lists (ACLs) Experience with DNS including stub zones, host files and other implementations Experience with Browser settings and troubleshooting Experience with general firewall exposure, rule sets, NAT, network ports and services Experience with general network topologies and interconnectivity solutions Experience with certificates and implementation Experience interpreting network sniffer traces utilizing tools such as Wireshark General network security background would be helpful Coordination and customer service skills for working with agency IT vendors performing the networking changes, and help with troubleshooting Web Service knowledge: self hosted/IIS Security/Encryption familiarity Thank you, David Shah [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
