Client has an immediate opening for a *SUPERSTAR* *Java Technical Team
Lead.*
This is going to be a *6 month+ long consulting position in Greensboro,
North Carolina.*
Client is ‘tech lead’ poor at this time – have a huge staff to support and
many projects to keep them busy so *QUALITY* is highly important on these
positions.
STRONG leadership skills required. *NOT offshore.*
*Java Tech Lead is primary and top skills are:*
- JEE (J2EE) 1.4/1.5
- JSE (J2SE) 1.4/5/6
- Hibernate
- Spring
- EJB
- JDBC
- JMS
- Web Services Technology
- XML
The right candidate will be good at learning new technologies – don’t
expect them to match their entire stack but must demonstrate ability to
learn quickly.
Expecting person to have a level of independence.
*Description: *
• Application Program Leads are responsible for understanding the technical
vision within development areas.
• This role is responsible for implementing the technical vision through
active development, guidance, and mentoring of project specific development
teams.
• Application Program Leads collaborate with business subject matter
experts, business analysts, Solution Architects and development team
members to implement a solution.
* Primary responsibilities:*
• Leads technical project team (LOCAL, ONSHORE)
• Executes on deliverables within projects
o High level (Logical) design
o SA Reviews & ARB reviews
o Code reviews
o Work with the PM to assign project tasks to developers
o PoC implementations when applicable
o Project deployments and closure
• Leads and produces deliverables within projects
o Low level (Physical) design
o Detailed estimates
o Project-specific testing
= Participates in Unit testing & Integration Testing
= Supports QA Testing, UAT Testing & Load Testing
• Assures connection between requirements and detailed application design
can be tracked
• Takes an active, hands-on role in the implementation of software
• Works closely with Solution Architects to define project software
solutions
• Owns project documentation
