Derivative Solutions Analyst (QA with Derivatives) Contracts are 6+ months long Boston. MA - *will require an in person interview* *JOB TITLE: Derivative Solutions Analyst ----- * 6 MONTHS They need someone with testing, sql, analysis and derivatives experience. The Derivative Solutions Analyst is responsible for providing outstanding service to our business sponsors through thorough analysis, comprehensive documentation, detailed communication and quality user acceptance testing . The Derivative Solutions Analyst is expected to perform all job responsibilities with the highest degree of professionalism, dedication, and a strong focus on customer service. Start Time: 9:00 AM Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Location: Education: Additional Job Details: ***MUST-HAVES:**** • Strong communication and documentation---- • Strong customer service skills---- • Focused on meeting priorities in the scheduled timeframe---- • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment----**** RESPONSIBILITIES:**** 1. Prepare user acceptance testing scripts and perform UAT according to these test scripts---- 2. Work with testing automation / QA team to automate successful test scripts---- 3. Prepare, maintain and update team procedures and comprehensive documentation for the business processes that are developed and implemented.---- 4. Liaison between the global derivative service business partners and investment systems units to reproduce user issues and document business needs---- 5. Identify opportunities for increasing system/business opportunities.---- 6. Prepare, develop and/or support training materials---- ** *Knowledge / Education: Required**** • Working knowledge of basic derivative products (Futures, Options, Swaps)---- • SQL Querying ability*---- • MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio)----- • Reconciliation Skills---- ****Recommended **** • Experience in derivative operations / back office preferred---- • Experience with OpenLink FINDUR or ENDUR applications---- • *Knowledge of SDLC and Project Life Cycle Methodologies*---- • Experience with Microsoft Access.---- ****Skills/Competencies:**** • Ability to write UAT test scripts according to documented business requirements and/or technical specifications---- • Well-developed analytical skills with the ability to define problem statements---- • Capable of gathering and validating business needs in order to resolve issues and problems. ---- • Ability to take a creative approach to problem solving and question traditional assumptions. ---- • Effective communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills ----- * Regards:Sam Williams - Recruiting Manager ITBrainiac Inc.
