Title: Technical Salesforce Business Analyst
Contract Duration: 7+ months
Location: Norwalk, Connecticut
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field,
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•5+ years of experience in a hands-on technical leadership position
•7+ years of experience with Salesforce.com development.
•One or more current Salesforce.com certifications (Administrator, Advanced
Developer, Sales/Service Cloud, Advanced Administrator)
•Knowledge of Salesforce Best Practices using Apex and VisualForce
•Knowledge of Salesforce Integration Patterns
•Multiple Salesforce Project deployments including release and environment
management.
•Salesforce.com certifications highly preferred
•

•Some experience managing change at regional or global levels
•Ability to act as a highly effective coach, able to work independently and
develop others to deliver their best

Description:
The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for
implementation, delivering and supporting application lifecycle projects
utilizing commercial, open source and custom-developed software by
partnering with Sales, Customer Marketing, Service, Technology and BI
stakeholders for Salesforce.com issues and minor enhancements. The
individual designs and implements the key technical components of the
solution and helps direct technical resources to develop and deliver the
deliverables. They reduce the overall technical risk by uncovering design
issues, shares implementation best practices, and recommends solution
alternatives. Additionally, the Technical Business Analyst partners with
the Technical Architect to conduct design/code reviews during major
milestones. This is a hands on role that requires significant technical
experience and abilities with Salesforce.com and related cloud
technologies. Uses their knowledge and experience to influence and guide
teams.
Engage with the Business Product Owners and Vendor Partner to
appropriately triage and resolve incidents that may arise ensuring proper
priority is placed on each escalated issue while not impacting the planned
release schedule.
Clearly defining the business issues and opportunities that will result in
the design, development and implementation of GDBS solutions
Lead functional requirements gathering sessions with the Business and
interface with vendor partner in translating requirements into fully
scoped user stories and Salesforce.com design.
Working closely with other support staff, operations and change managers to
prepare all requests, development resourcing, resolving incidents,
implementing changes, Service Introduction and ultimate knowledge transfer
into BAU.
Designs, Develops and Supports Application of Incidents and Minor
Enhancements.
Conducts change analysis to determine impacts across environment
/applications and determine appropriate testing required.
Ensures design standards are followed.
This role requires a self-starter who will be able to run with the pipeline
development work he/she is charged to solution. As this role interfaces
closely with the Business it is important that the candidate has very
strong communication skills and is comfortable leading meetings with the
Business without attendance by the Business Partner or Lead BA.
