Please also note that the position is for stored procedure development only. * *FUNCTION: * Responsible for developing and supporting SQL Server database solutions within both the production and development environments. *PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES: * Create, troubleshoot, and maintain stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions. Debug and modify SSIS packages, SSRS reports, and design/configure reporting Services using RS Configuration manager. Develop / support XML/XLS schemas. Perform database/code migrations, and track the requests within the internal SharePoint Workflows. Develop sufficient knowledge of the current IT applications/technology such that solutions meet the division’s objectives. Develop and enforces division’s IT application standards. *SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: * In depth Microsoft SQL Server Database development experience. Proven experience managing multiple MS SQL 2008 on large systems. Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on Database projects. Practical experience in monitoring and tuning databases In depth hands-on experience with Transactional SQL, and stored procedures. Practical experience in managing internal and external MS SQL database security. Strong analytical, organizational, documentation and communications skills. Experience working in a dynamic, deadline oriented environment. Ability to work with and understand existing .NET and legacy applications that interact with SQL.
