*REQUIRED:*

·        Minimum 8+ years participating in and managing complex and highly
matrixed cross platform software releases

·        Minimum of 5 - 8 years managing technical projects; developing and
creating project plans, managing change and risk, and tracking and
reporting progress

·        Broad and in-depth knowledge and experience in project management.
Strong process orientation; solid understanding of project management
techniques, methodologies and best practices.

·        Highly motivated, resourceful and able to work independently with
initial guidance and direction

·        Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle

·        Experience and high comfort level with communicating in all
formats to individuals at all levels of the company

·        Leverage experience, demonstrate initiative and exercise good
judgment in managing complex situations

·        Strong organizational and problem solving skills

·        Experience with Release Management and practices

·        Ability to analyze and organize a plan based upon available
information

·        Ability to delegate tasks and ensure successful task completion

·        Ability to influence without direct authority to achieve necessary
goals

·        Strong teamwork, interpersonal & relationship-building skills

·        Strong process orientation; solid understanding of project
management techniques, methodologies and best practices

·        Working knowledge and experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Project or similar project management software

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

·        Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope,
schedule and quality

·        Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request
backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating
system updates

·        Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams
at different locations

·        Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business
Go/No-Go reviews

·        Produce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans

·        Weekly Release Reporting

·        Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as
required

·        Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities

·        Work with development and testing team to understand impacts of
branches and code merges

·        Maintains the release schedule for all core services and ensure
alignment across key partners and vendors.

·        Continually work towards making improvements in the release process

·        Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the
execution of the deployment Plans and checklists.

·        Develops scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate,
and deploy software releases to various platforms

·        Participate in meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks

·        Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as
build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists

·        Researches new software development and configuration management
methodologies and technologies and analyzes their application to current
configuration management needs

·        Conducts post-installation “lessons learned” sessions and produces
post-production installation reporting as required

·        Manages the scope of each release through the Release Change
Control Process

·        Acts as liaison between Project Management, Product Development,
Business Stakeholders, & Operations organizations

·        Maintains the organization’s Event Calendar which contains release
dates, any significant maintenance activities, and off-cycle project
launches

·        Creates and maintains the annual maintenance release schedule for
Issuer Processing

·        Manages all release related processes, continually reviewing and
improving as needed
