Fully versed and experienced in various forms of requirements and functionality. documentation * process maps, use cases, data mapping, storyboarding, activity diagrams, decision trees/tables, etc. Basic Qualifications Required: Knowledge of system development lifecycle (SDLC). Business Analysis experience. Experience in data mapping and process mapping. Experience in eliciting and documenting business requirements. Experience in translating and documenting functional requirements from business requirements. Experience in documenting existing system functionality (Reverse engineer the current functionality into documentation). Ability to analyze and document functionality gaps between existing system functionality and new customer requests. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Tool Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio). Personal organization and prioritization skills. Ability to communicate obstacles and progress. Proposes solutions to problems and considers timeliness, effectiveness, and practicality in addressing end-user needs. Ability to work independently on multiple initiatives with minimal supervision. Establishes responsible deadlines, personal work plans, and manages time effectively. Able to establish harmonious, collaborative working relationships with team members. Strong analytical, problem solving, and facilitation skills. Possesses the ability to clearly articulate ideas in both verbal and written format. Experience providing input and guidance for the development of test plans. Assist in the prioritization of change requests by analyzing benefits of each change as well as level of implementation effort required for each change. Background:The ClearCourse product line is a Group Annuity product. Client*s primary customers in this line of business are record keepers who service companies* 401(k) retirement plans. The business is interested in contracting with a Business Analyst in order to document current system functionality and gaps and well as write business requirements to support the implementation of several new record keeper customers. The successful candidate will need to be able to thoroughly understand the data flow and technologies used to facilitate the data flow and file exchange process between Client and our record keeper customers as well as the Web tool used to provide information to customers. Responsibilities: Reporting to Business Analysis Team Manager. Manages change requests and prioritization of requests for new functionality. Participate in functionality development projects under the guidance of a Senior Business Analyst.
