*Skills Required:*
* * Unix/Linux environment, Production support skills experience in
handling end user support calls, coordinating user support with
developers and other supporting teams, software packaging and
distribution, troubleshooting and debugging complex systems.
* Basic technical skills include source control management software -
ClearCase preferred, relational database systems - Sybase preferred,
and web server/application software -- Apache/Websphere preferred.
* Development skills should include scripting and an understanding of
complied languages:
Generally, an understanding of network topologies and firewalls and an
understanding of NIS, NFS, DNS, SSH, SSL, and TCP/IP.
Preferred:
Fixed income / Mortgage / Equities experience would be a big plus
Skills with Windows server.
Skills with batch scheduling systems such as Autosys. *
