We have the following contract positions.

*Skills Required:*
* Experience in ETL design, development, and configuration management
experience in Informatica with Teradata as data warehouse database. Must
have extensive experience in using Informatica Designer Components -
Source Analyzer, Warehouse Designer, Mapping Designer & Mapplet
Designer, Transformation developer, Workflow Manager and Workflow Monitor.
Experience using Teradata. Must be very proficient in Teradata SQL
(minimum 8/10). Must also have experience in using utilities such as
BTEQ, Multi Load, Fast Load, Tpump, TPT etc. Should be able to code
Macros, Stored procedures and Views.
Must have experience in SQL query tuning and Informatica performance
tuning. Must be proficient in leveraging EXPLAIN PLAN output for
understanding how queries work.
Experience using other databases such as Oracle, SQL Server.
Good knowledge of data warehouse concepts. Must have good
understanding of identifying fact vs. dimension attributes. Also, should
have Experience in defining a suitable architecture for data integration
from multiple, disparate data sources including legacy systems,
relational databases, flat files, message queues, spreadsheets, etc.
Unix Shell scripting with good understanding of utilities like SED,
AWK etc. Should be able to code "file watcher" scripts, scripts to parse
data from control files, and scripts to manage data on Teradata from ETL
server.
Providing technical/process direction to other developers, including
mentoring others in BI, ETL, Informatica areas.
