As a developer, this person will be responsible for maintaining existing web applications developed using Java and .NET technologies. This person will also be responsible for maintaining legacy shell and SQL scripts that run as batch jobs in a UNIX environment. Developing new web applications or batch jobs may be required, but will be infrequent. As a support engineer, this person will be responsible for supporting the Visiprise Manufacturing (VM) shop floor web application and related applications and jobs. This includes working with users to resolve errors, batch loading data for users, and creating technical solutions as needed to meet the users’ needs.
