Tasks will include development of high performance communications infrastructure software and various multi-threaded call processing applications. *Minimum required skills/experience: * *- 7 years’ experience with Linux systems development utilizing C/C++ - 5 years developing concurrent multi-threaded (pthreads) applications. *- Background in systems programming including automated failure handling and recovery. - Advanced TCP/IP and UDP network programming. - Linux Inter-Process Communications (shared memory, semaphore, mailbox, FIFO) - Experience in developing high-reliability applications in a mission critical environment. - Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills. *Desired skills: *- Software Configuration Management with CVS - Experience in porting porting non-Linux/Unix based code to the Linux operating system. - Experience with development of security compliant applications utilizing SSL. - Java Web services development utilizing Apache/Tomcat. - Database applications development in Oracle Pro*C - Linux scripting with ksh and Python.
