*Position: Business R4 Rules Developer/ Blaze rule developer*

*Location: Brooklyn, NY  *

*Duration: 6 Months*



*SCOPE OF SERVICES  *

The Rules Developer will be responsible for the implementation and
enhancement of business rules using the Blaze Advisor BRDMS This position
will work as a hands-on technical resource. This resource will work with
the Project Managers and interface with business users to collect business
rules.  Under the supervision of the Project Manager and Technical Lead,
the Rules Developer will be responsible for:
Develop Blaze Rules components to meet business requirements and in
accordance with industry best practices, DoITT standards, and Citywide
security policies.
Provide technical expertise, estimates, and recommendations to the
Development Lead and project management.
Participate in the development of Blaze Rules system design.
Communicate risks and issues to the Development Lead.
Participate in requirements discussions and meetings as necessary.
Work with portal development team to implement Blaze rules into customer
facing website.
Work with Teamsite Content Management team related to Blaze rules
compilation and deployment issues.
Work with Teamsite Content Management team to resolve Content IDS and Blaze
rules query issues.
Develop/manage Wizard and Incentives rule repository.
Develop web application of Blaze rules authoring system via Rules
Management Application (RMA).
Conduct Unit Testing, supporting Quality Assurance, and coordination of
defect remediation.
Assist in documenting technical risks and issues, and actively work to
avoid/mitigate/resolve those risks.

*Deliverables:*
Working and manageable Database Rules repository
Supporting properties and/or configuration files and artifacts especially
those that differentiate deployment environments.
Deployable Rules Management Application (RMA)
Any Application source code developed in conjunction with Blaze Advisor
Rules.
Rulesets and/or Rules Templates associated with the application(s).
Automated Unit test suites (i.e. BRUnit tests) demonstrating that delivered
source code meets functional and non-functional requirements, where
applicable.
Assist in creating documentation such as but not limited to: Technical
Design, Security Accreditation, and Application Setup Instructions.
