Position: Senior Weblogic Admin
Location: Dallas, Texas
Duration: 6+ Months
*LOCAL CANDIDATES ARE PREFERRED*
*Job Details*
Perform the day to day maintenance/upgrades to the current environments
that include IIS and Weblogic. Work on Projects, Work Orders and Managed
Work Orders as they are presented by the client. Availability for on-call
and to work with the team on issues is a must (24x7 support). Must be able
to architect solutions when needed and provide the client with support for
existing and new environments. Must be able to work independently and also
work with the team to provide quality work.
• Work on troubleshooting the infrastructure environment issues and
production issues, fix them and complete RCA.
• Experience with applications hosted on Windows and Linux
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of
turn around
• Work on Documentation for the project worked on.
• Experience in working on change Management process.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Experience on Supporting Servers in PCI environment.
*Mandatory Skills*
Must have expert level experience as a Weblogic Administrator
• 10 years of IT experience
• With 3+ years of Weblogic administration. MUST BE VERY STRONG in
WEBLOGIC
Solid understanding of J2EE concepts.
• Knowledge of Windows and UNIX.
• Experience with high availability and failover concepts and
implementation
• Knowledge of scripting in VB and python.
• Experience in Installation, Configuration and support of Applications
Servers Oracle Web logic 11g and Higher, Web Sphere 7.x and Higher.
• Experience in Installation, Configuration and support of Web Engines
IIS 6.0/7.5 and Apache 2.x with App Dev. teams
• Work deploying code and configuring application in Web Logic/IIS
servers across environments.
