*Need BI reports Developer in TN - 6 Months contract!* Position : BI reports Developer Location : Nashville,TN Duration : 6 Months *Need GC or USC for contract to hire* Description: BI Report Developer opportunity. The selected candidate will design, develop and implement revenue cycle reporting solutions. He/she also interprets designs and develops analyses to solve complex operational, financial and/or accounting problems. The candidate will assist the Manager of Reconciliation and Reporting with developing and maintaining reporting tools necessary to support operations including the development of tools to effectively measure performance. The BI Report Developer will work closely with assigned Project Management, IT&S and Database Solutions teams to develop, deploy, and maintain standard reporting tools. Responsibilities: Designs, develops and implements adhoc and standard reports and/or operational reporting applications Identifies and documents reporting requirements. Designs report format (adhering to internal company design standards as necessary), content, calculations, data elements, and sources of information. Identifies data, interfaces and testing requirements. Develops and executes reports using appropriate toolset. Executes acceptance test procedures. Designs and maintains productivity and performance monitoring tools. Collaborates with supervisors and peers to develop and implement monitoring tools to solve/understand complex business/operational problems. Uses data mining tools to assist customers with data requests. Works with other business functional areas (Payment Compliance, Collections, Billing, Patient Access, Vendor Mgmt) to assist with providing information/reporting solutions. Develops testing/quality assurance processes Coordinates and executes testing activities Develops master and detailed quality assurance plans with various reporting tools. Provides process and methodology oversight to ensure data accuracy. Produces and maintains documentation and education content related to Reporting Tools including maintenance of metadata for business intelligence applications. Works with Corporate IT&S and Database Solutions Staff to ensure the efficient production and delivery of revenue cycle performance reporting to staff and customers Understands and can assist users with the Enterprise Data Warehouse including: Recommends sources for specific information Understands relationships between tables including attribute Advises users of limitations of data Assists Senior Manager with special projects as assigned. Required Skills/Experience: Organization - proactively prioritizes needs and effectively manages resources Communication - communicates clearly and concisely (oral and written) Customer orientation - establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations Tactical execution - demonstrates ownership of tasks/projects and follows through to get the required results in the predetermined timeframe Experience developing in OBIEE, Essbase, Crystal Reports, Microstrategy, Visual Insight, Business Objects, Arcplan or other BI reporting tools a strong plus. Must have prior experience with relational databases (SQL, Oracle, Teradata), including advanced Excel and Access skills, understanding of database concepts including use of querying tools, and knowledge of business intelligence data warehousing methodologies. Web development experience such as .NET, Java, asp, etc. is valid experience as well as Visual Basic. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or Information Systems/Computer Science. Solid understanding of financial accounting and revenue cycle concepts.
