*SENIOR INFORMATICA DEVELOPER* *Duration: 6 Months* *Location: Glendale, Arizona* *JOB DESCRIPTION:-* This position is for a senior Informatica developer, and the person filling this role will become part of a small team designing and implementing an Insurance Claims Analytics data mart. Technical skills in Informatica, Oracle, and Linux are required. The ability to communicate effectively with other Informatica developers, Data Architects, OLAP and BI Developers and members of the business community are just as essential as technical skills for the person filling this role. Responsibilities and Duties; Design and maintenance of complex ETL mappings, maplets, and workflows; Development of queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views and materialized views; Performance tuning of queries; Performance tuning of mappings/workflows; Documentation of ETL jobs; Unit and systems testing of mappings created by ETL developers. *Skills:* 8+ years of experience developing ETL applications in a dimensional data mart/data warehouse environment; 5+ years of experience using Informatica Powercenter tools including o Informatica Designero Informatica Monitoro Informatica Workflow Managero Informatica Repository Manager; Ability to read Informatica Session logs to find performance problems or other errors; Ability to write reusable code using mapletsl; Strong understanding of Relational Database Managements Systems (preferably Oracle) that includes o Ability to write, test/debug, and tune complex querieso Write stored procedures, stored functions and triggerso Write views and materialized views; Ability to read Entity Relationship Diagrams; Ability to analyze existing code, find problems, and propose better strategies to accomplish ETL tasks; Knowledge of Kimball methodology; Level of comfort in using the complete set of tools available (Informatica, database techniques including analytical functions, and Linux shell scripting) to find innovate ways to solve system problems; Strong communication skills Qualifications that are nice to have, but not required; Knowledge of the Insurance industry; Knowledge of the IBM IAA data model; Experience using Informatica to read and write data to Hadoop; Linux shell scripting -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
