Working as Part of a 20 person team (10 onsite, 10 offshore) *TOP responsibilities for this position:* Assess the Business requirements Understand the current system design/architecture/functionality to a very detailed level and come up with best possible changes to meet the requirements. Follow best practices for database design Build robust/scalable code. Redesign/Recode the current interfaces for performance improvements, scalability software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities: Datastage, java, Experience working with Oracle and Sybase DB's on large datasets. Experience building Stored procedures, functions in SQL. skills/attributes are a must have: Strong analytical, problem solving skills, must be able to work well with teams.
