!! Immediate need of Java Developer !!! ********In Person Interview******* Position : Sr Java Developer Location : North Quincy, Massachusetts. Duration : 6 Contract (Hours per Week: 40 hours per week) Skills: 5+ years of experience as a Java developer (J2EE, JSP, EJB). 3+ years BEA WebLogic 9.2/11g experience JOB DESCRIPTION Under the direction of the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) Project Manager (PM), the Senior JAVA Developer (SJA) will design, develop, and implement web-based Java applications. The SJA will be required to design components, sub-components and reports and then follow through with the coding, unit testing and integration of those components, usually working as part of a team, but sometimes independently. He or she will follow an agile methodology, create design documents, and resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Responsibilities: • Create new system reports module, address system enhancements and upgrade existing system with current cutting edge technologies. • Participate in design reviews and identify potential mitigation strategies for technical risks. • Provide J2EE best practices to convert EJB’s into Object Relational mapping (Hibernate). • Convert existing struts framework to JSF and comply with the American Disability Act accessibility. • Develop architectural proofs of concept to demonstrate practical business agile solution and evolve core architectural constructs. • Configure WebLogic application server to support the development and deployment of enterprise applications and services. • Fix Vulnerability and performance issues. • Document technical approach and core design artifacts. • Conduct unit testing. • Measure compliance against standards. • Communicate clearly with project team; as well as IT shared services team. • Work with a disciplined change management and application management environment. • Work within a group and collaborative team dynamic under the direction of the PM and or team lead. • Provide technology summaries and recommendations to team leads. • Produce weekly status report.
