If they don't have AuthorIt experience then working in some kind of single source content database is required. Any authoring tool that checks in/checks out and versions content in a database would work. QuickSilver (formerly Interleaf, usually combined with Relational Document Manager) Arbortext Editor (formerly Epic Editor, usually combined with Documentum) Madcap Flare Xyleme (a single-sourcing LCMS) Some exposure to an HTML tool would also be helpful, such as at least one of the following (or something similar): Dreamweaver WebWorks RoboHelp FrontPage If someone has Adobe Captivate experience that is a plus, but not part of the core skill set.
