*Job Title : SSAS Developer Location : Madison, WI Duration : Contract to Hire Rate : Market US Citizens, Green Card and EAD Only Please* ROLE DESCRIPTION: Client has an existing BI group (2 resources currently) that is based in MSFT tools that they would like to augment with a lead resource. Focus is on ETL (SSIS) and cubes (SSAS). Most transactional reporting at that client is provided by the ERP team (off the DW/cubes this team delivers/support) however some SSRS experience is needed for adhoc reporting done in excel (pivot tables, etc). Current BI solution is not real time (closest is 30 minute delay) but would like someone that understand the issues with near-real time reporting off a data warehouse. Successful candidates will have 2-3 years of experience in the MSFT BI stack with experience in all aspects of the stack (a guru in one area like SSAS isn't enough). Role will report to the manager of business intelligence at the client and mentor / guide two existing BI resources currently there. Resource will be expected to be hands on in delivery (management/mentoring is a minority of the role). SKILLS SPECIFICALLY CALLED OUT BY CLIENT: * 3-4 Years of experience in the MSFT BI Stack. * Multiple roles where resource was primary lead for client around SSAS (smaller teams are better) * Multiple roles where resource did initial cube for clients based on SSAS (design, develop, support) * Data warehouse database design (Kimball, etc.) roles * Integration experience to SSAS cubes via web based applications * Creation of numerous performance measurements with MDX (i.e. 100+) * Dynamic creation of MDX via code to allow user driven ad-hoc queries against a cube * SSIS. * Development background (VB, .NET, etc.) prior to BI focus over last 3-4 years SKILLS INFORMALLY CALLED OUT: * SSRS (important but not as key as SSIS and SSAS experience). * C# (relative to being able to go into a website that interacts with the BI cubes and make simple adjustments). * Mentoring Experience * Manufacturing Experience. * Retail Experience. ------------------------------------------------- Thanks and Best Regards, Sam Riley | Sr Technical Recruiter Email: [email protected] Direct: 201-710-8278 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
