Role : Infrastructure and Release Manager Location : NYC, New York Duration : 2 Years Rate : $560/day on C2C Summary: An experienced delivery infrastructure and release manager to work in Investment Banking IT division. Job Responsibilities: . Configure infrastructure environment - JAP (Weblogic Server), databases, queue, etc. for Contract Data Utility delivery platform. . Work with server, database and messaging teams to set up all infrastructure needs . Keep current all resource configurations. . Maintain up-to-date schedule of environment availability work with different consumers in Dev, SIT, QA, UAT. . Build and deploy code base to respective environments. . Make sure all components are in runnable state. . Streamline environment for optimal use. Skills: . Expert level knowledge of Weblogic 10.0.3+. Experience with JAP infrastructure preferred . Solid understanding of Oracle database from the infrastructure perspective . Strong command of Unix . Strong knowledge of messaging platforms and JMS . Solid command of ant, maven and continuous build approaches . Working knowledge of Java and garbage collection parameters . Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills . Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time . Ability to lead a small number of resources on-site and offshore . Ability to work under extreme pressure to meet regulatory deadlines Education/Experience: .
