*Position: ServiceNow consultant* *Location: Los Angeles, CA* *Duration : 3 months* Please find guideline JD for ServiceNow consultant: *Role*: Senior ServiceNow Developer / Technical Consultant · The role would be for configuring and setting up Service-now ITSM application and administer, maintain and implement · This person will work very closely with ITSM Process consultants, customer personnel, IT/Application support teams and other technical teams to ensure that business needs around implementation of ITSM processes and ServiceNow (Service-now.com) in a controlled and predictive manner. · The general scope of the work for this position is as follows: · Understands technical and functional design requirements for ServiceNow · Comprehensive knowledge on Features, strengths of Service Now and solutioning approach. · Designs, codes, and tests technical solutions for ServiceNow implementations · Uses Mid server, web services, email and other relevant technology to integrate tools with ServiceNow. · Identifies system deficiencies and recommends solutions · Maintaining and administering the implemented instance of ServiceNow and perform tasks such as - Configure Users, company, site, location and other existing fieldsConfigure Support Groups, assignment rules, categorizations, CI data, SLA/multilayer SLAs etc · Create and Track support cases with ServiceNow-Template creation, change order/task/activity Troubleshooting the ServiceNow instance issues · Lead / Assists in enforcement of development deadlines and schedules · Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively. Contributes appropriately to conversations. · Commitment driven · Assumes additional responsibility without being asked. · Encourages fellow team members to make innovative contributions and embrace new ideas. *Qualifications* · IT or Web programming related educational background. · The candidate should be trained in ITILv3 foundation certified. · Total experience of around 8 years out of which, Service-now Experienced 5-6 years at with prior experience in at least 2 to 4 deployment/administration of ServiceNow implementation. · At least 2-3 years of IT experience in development/ analyst positions in Service Management tools such as BMC Remedy, HP SM, BMC Remedy on Demand · Experience with JavaScript, XML and XSL stylesheets6.
