Position: Python Developer Location: Philadelphia, PA Duration: 6 months+ *Skills Required * Top skills (in order): •1-2 years of python/Django experience •Experience with front end technologies and a desire to learn new technology •Familiarity with the Agile software process •Use of Amazon Web Services to for computing, DNS, and storage *Role Description * *Summary:* · Django/full stack developer to help expand the client’s Retail's digital presence working within an Agile team writing test-driven code, using continuous integration and delivery. In addition, interface with Marketing teams to create and enhance new web properties, grow areas of our Django infrastructure, and be the point person for technical advice and knowledge. *Essential Duties/Responsibilities:* · Design, develop, maintain, enhance and support web front end and applications working within a team · Provide production support and monitoring of web systems, occasionally after normal work hours · Work within an Agile team to groom stories and communicate timelines · Facilitate requirements gathering efforts and clearly document system requirements · Development of prototypes/proofs of concept in coordination with business units · Documentation of design specifications. · Develop new and enhanced system functionality including operational controls · Collaborate with team members and business units to identify and prioritize/reprioritize work when necessary · Willingness to work hours as necessary, especially during critical issue resolution and milestone time periods · Interact with external entities: vendors, service providers and product vendors · Help identify and recommend options, risks and alternatives to deliver a robust and stable web infrastructure · Assist in researching, evaluating, specifying technical solutions to problems · Remain abreast of current technologies and best practices that may be applicable to the company *Experience:* · Currently working with Django · Experience developing high quality web applications · Strong HTML, CSS (SASS, LESS), and JavaScript skills · Experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL and MySQL) · Strong working knowledge of AWS ecosystem · Strong understanding of web architecture (caching, load balancing, etc) · Experience turning comps and wireframes into code · Strong ability to decompose requirements into unit tests *Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:* · AWS experience · Mobile and responsive design · Experience with JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, React) · Understanding of node.js · Working knowledge of PHP · Flexibility, dedication, and team-spirit is a must · Strong organizational skills · Strong analytical and problem solving skills · Adept at communication, both verbally and written Thanks & Regards, Sai Krishna Sr. Technical Recruiter [image: in.linkedin.com/in/saikrishna2/] <http://in.linkedin.com/in/saikrishna2/> ------------------------------ Osair Technologies | Desk: 630-566-7324 | [email protected] ------------------------------ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
