BSA- Retail, Supply Chain, Finance
Location: Ann Arbor MI
Duration: 2-6 month Contract

Essential Responsibilities

 *   Responsible for developing and maintaining a strong two-way communication 
channel between business partners and IT Understand current business needs, 
functions, and objectives
 *   Identify business problems and propose solutions
 *   Partner with business leaders to define business processes and data flows, 
identifying and recommending improvement
 *   Construct models and mapping of business processes and flows, Under 
general supervision, responsible for solution designs for business applications 
– includes package configuration, enhancement, and modification; system 
upgrades; interfaces; and legacy enhancements,
 *   Develop an understanding of the functionality and features of the various 
systems in use,
 *   Create and maintain appropriate documentation including business process 
documentation and functional specifications
 *   Aid in the development of user training documentation
 *   Assist with integration and user acceptance testing
 *   Create integration test plans including test scripts, data, and expected 
results, and monitor test progress and results
 *   Support users in development of user acceptance test plans and partner 
with user to ensure quality of user acceptance testing
 *   May lead a small or medium sized project to completion according to 
project standards and user satisfaction
 *   Facilitate information gathering sessions, such as, vendor presentations, 
user requirements gathering sessions, and business process workflow discussions



Job Qualifications

 *   Bachelor's degree or equivalent business degree with work experience
 *   Excellent verbal and written communication skills – able to speak at both 
user and technical levels, able to translate complex technical subjects into 
meaningful/relevant terms for the business, able to reliably convey information
 *   Knowledge and understanding of the retail environment business processes
 *   Project management experience
 *   SQL and data analysis skills
 *   A high level understanding of messaging and integration technologies
 *   Basic understanding of relational database systems
 *   Basic understanding of AS/400 platform
 *   Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills including experience as 
facilitator
 *   Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
 *   Able to resolve conflict and manage customer expectations
 *   Team-oriented and places a high value on cross-functional participation, 
values diversity, consensus, is decisive, establishes trust, communicates 
proactively, embraces and fosters change
 *   Effective priority and task management skills
 *   Experience in the complete software development lifecycle and 
methodologies, including quality practices
 *   Outstanding work ethic and a commitment to excellence
 *   High level of commitment, full ownership of processes and ability to 
overcome obstacles independently
