*Walnut Creek, CA / Atlanta, GA / Denver, CO* *Responsibilities* *•* Define strategy level architectures (business domain target and capability architectures) • Strategically provide business, data, application and technology consulting in pre-feasibility and feasibility discussions with IT team members and business partners • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the IT teams for project level architectures and design work • Review and approve project level architectures and designs for IT projects, and create these artifacts as needed on large, complex initiatives • Provide business, application and technology consulting and leadership conducting analysis of business processes and technologies to determine and validate the stated and unstated needs of the business unit and enterprise, solving complex problems together • OSS tools and development experience in one or more of the following popular OSS: C, C++, Java, PHP, Python, JavaScript, Perl, C# etc. • Pull strings with Puppet and cook some recipes up with Chef; (at least have CM through some version control). We’re open minded about your tools experience • Mentor delivery team technical leads and developers • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required due to dynamic nature of discussions with other engineering and product teams • Lead the technical review component of vendor software package evaluation projects • Act as a liaison with other architects (security, infrastructure, data, etc.) and with delivery teams working primarily in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) manner • Translate requirements into functional service designs and create service models along with supporting documentation (activity and sequence diagrams) • Seek out and identify opportunities to reuse enterprise technology services • Relentlessly ensure that service designs adhere to standards, principles and governance processes • Provide service designs deliverables which can be estimated by the appropriate implementation teams and ensure designs and patterns are adhered to in the delivery channels • Perform peer reviews of designs and solution proposals to ensure conformance to current practice and quality of work being generated * · Qualifications* • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology, or military experience • 5+ years’ experience in systems architecture • At least 4 years’ Open-Source Software tools and development experience in one or more of the following popular OSS: C, C++, Java, PHP, Python, JavaScript, Perl, C# etc. • 3+ years’ experience developing applications using Agile principles • At least 2 years’ experience with a formal configuration management tool, using Subversion, Git, TFS, or ClearCase • 3+ years’ experience developing automation workflows/routines using industry leading tools, including OpenSource Tools (Chef/Puppet/Hudson), or Vendor Based Tools (HPSA/OO, vCAC, uDeploy) • 2+ years’ experience using cloud based hosting solutions (AWS-EC2/S3, Azure, Google Cloud) -- *Thanks & Regards* *Rathna Kumar* *Global Information Systems, Inc*29777 Telegraph Rd *I* Suite 2450 *I* Southfield *I *MI-48034 Ph: 248 223 9800 x 214 *I *Fax: 248.266.8320 *v...@gissite.com <v...@gissite.com>* *I *www.GISSite.com <http://www.gissite.com/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
