Required Skills
• Current Java development experience
• 2-3 years of relevant Genesys work experience,
strong understanding of APIs
• Design, development and deployment of
client-facing IVR and contact center applications, using either Cisco or
Avaya.
• Design and integration of IVR and CTI
applications
• Development experience with proven track
record building Web Services
• A good understanding of the architectural
principals of web based platforms including multi-tenancy, multi-tiered
infrastructure and application servers.
• A solid foundation in computer science, with
strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design,
Multithreading, High performance applications, (No)SQL and strong object
oriented programming and design skills
• Strong unit testing and code organization
• Excellent knowledge of algorithm development
and data analysis
• Excellent communication skills and problem
solving skills
• Drive the implementation of the solutions
created
• Superior critical thinking and problem solving
skills
• Excellent analysis skills and the ability to
develop processes and methodologies.
• Detail-oriented individual with the ability to
rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and
technologies
• Up-to-speed on the latest technologies,
platforms, and open-source
• Working experience with REST, JSON, XML
Desired skills
• Skills in scripting languages, particularly
Python, Perl with JavaScript, is a plus
• Experience in large data stores and
distributed systems
• Experience in NoSQL technologies: Cassandra,
Hadoop, etc.
• Scalability and performance engineering

Qualification
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering with
relevant industry experience
