*Position : Vmware Admin * *Location : Atlanta , GA Duration : 10+ Months* *Interview : Phone / Skype* *Job Requirement * · Sharing ownership of operational responsibility for VMWARE administrative management at the client site(s) with the Client Manager. · Provisioning VM Hosts based on standardized procedures detailed in the Operational Run Book and meeting agreed upon standards. · Configuration and Management of VM Hosts. · Planning, coordinating, and responsibility for the execution of the business continuance and disaster recovery plans as agreed upon by customer. · Participating in the design and operational execution of the client's storage disaster recovery process, as required. · Performing necessary VM Hosts maintenance in accordance with client change management policies. · Performing necessary VM HOSTS data migration as required and defined by migration practices. · Performance VMWARE tuning in the environment when needed. · Providing analysis of the VMWARE environment and best practice knowledge transfer. · Generating regular operations reports using supplied tools. · Recommending changes to procedures which result in operational optimization and improved SLAs. · Participating in Root Cause Analysis reviews as applicable.
