*Details:  Below are some details that are highlights to the job.*

Software developer to work on maintenance and enhancement of an existing
set of*Python/Django/MySQL* network inventory and network management
systems in support of Network Operations. We have a backlog of issues to
address, some of which may require redesign of the database and minor
design changes to the UI. The developer will be working on a small team
(2-3 people) using iterative methodologies and working from user stories
and bug reports rather than a requirements specification document.
Specifications will be refined during development.

We require someone with strong coding skills and solid experience (6+
years), as we do not have a senior developer who can mentor this position.

 Skills & Requirements:
* *Significant real world experience developing web applications using*
*     a Python/Django/SQL stack.  (Examples required).*
** Comfort working via the CLI on both Linux and Mac OS X during*
     development, deployment, and maintenance tasks.
* Proven ability to write clean, well-documented code. (Code samples
required.)
* *Mobile (iOS, Android) development experience is a plus.*
* Some exposure to Agile methodologies strongly preferred.
* *Some exposure to TDD or BDD (e.g. Cucumber/WATIR) is desirable.*
* *Some knowledge of networking protocols and technologies preferred.*
* Experience and comfort working in a very small team environment and
ability to attend daily meetings either remotely or in-person.
* *Experience with modern version control (Git).*
** Experience with Jira or similar bug-tracking system.*
* Attention to detail and willingness to follow a lightweight but organized
process,
   including frequent updating of Jira issues.
* Ability and willingness to communicate clearly and work closely with QA
and Product Owner.
