*Duration: 6 Months Contract To Hire - EAD, GC or USC*

*Looking for ERP Business Analysts with experience on LARGE SCALE Oracle
ERP Implementations. Master data management is also preferred because
Oracle Master Data Hub is being implemented along with Oracle Ebusiness.
Must have experience working with Offshore teams/ vendors like TCS and
experience with Big 5 Consulting is preferred. This is a very HOT
requirement. *
*Position Title:* *Senior ERP Business Analyst*
*Required Skills:*
8+ years of experience in Business Analysis
Experience working with End Users and IT
Experience creating and writing SQL queries
Must have experience with Enterprise Implementations
Experience leading meetings and managing scope creep
Must have worked with 3rd party, off-shore vendors
Experience with all phases of a project (requirements gathering, design,
analysis, development, testing and deployment)
Experience with UAT Testing
Must have experience in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
Must hold a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business or similar field
of study
*Desired Skills: *
Experience with large-scale ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, etc)
Experience with MDM Master Data Management projects is preferred
Tier 1 consulting experience is highly desired
Experience working as a consultant in the “Big 5” (Deloitte, PWC, Ernst &
Young, etc.)
Some manual testing experience with Quality Center preferred
*Description of Role/Responsibilities:*
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join a
high-performing team in Columbus, Ohio. Ideal candidates will have
experience working with End Users to translate requirements from IT then
analyze data, facilitate testing and rollouts. This person will
immediately begin working on a project dealing with Master Data Management
and product records of the companies’ catalog system. Ideal candidates
will have experience with different ERP implementations and Tier 1
consulting experience would be very helpful. This group works at a very
fast pace and anyone coming into the environment is going to have to be
ready to hit the ground running. If you are looking for a new challenge
and to work for a quickly changing group, then this is the position for
you!
Notes:
As you look for candidates to fill this role, you should assume the
following:
- The role will be positioned as contract to hire (6 months is probably
about right)
- The position has the potential to work on a number of critical
transformational initiatives as McGraw-Hill continues its transformation
from a “Print book publisher to a Digital Learning Science provider”
- Likely targeted around Master Data Management applications such as
Oracle Product Data Hub at first, with the potential to expand
into Rights
and Permissions areas or different application upgrades
- The position is preferably local, but could expand to Dubuque IA
and/or East Windsor NJ locations if we are not successful in the Columbus
market
- Phone screens are preferred, prior to face-to-face interviews
- We would like to fill this position ASAP
Preferred qualifications:
- We would prefer someone with ‘Big 5’ consulting experience
(Andersen/Accenture, Ernst & Young/Cap Gemini, Delloitte, PWC, etc)
- We would prefer someone with multiple large scale ERP implementations
(Oracle, SAP, other, or equivalent)
- We would prefer someone with Publishing Industry experience
