*Job Title: Network Engineer* *Location : San Diego, CA* *Duration : 6+ Months with extension* *Rate: $45/hr on C2C* *Job Description:* 5+ years IT Experience in a large multi-national corporation with 20+ WAN sites. Candidate must demonstrate mastery of layer 3 routing that includes BGP and OSPF protocols. In-depth knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6. Experience with external IP registrars, nationally and internationally. IP addressing design experience in both the Public and Private addressing space. IPv6 knowledge will be a definite plus. Solid knowledge of how carrier networks work and provide services to customers. Router configuration design and protocol design. In-depth knowledge of VoIP connectivity over network infrastructure. In-depth knowledge of the various QoS methodologies. In-depth knowledge of WAN acceleration devices that optimize end user and data center to data center application flows.
