Location : Boca Raton, FL * *Duration : 6+ Months * *Interview : Phone/ Skype Job Description* · Address Merchandising Business Analytics questions. · Act as a main point of contact with the Merchandising business unit to conduct necessary studies that has immediate impact on Client's bottom line. · This role is designed to provide rapid Business Analytical support to Client Merchandising functions across all banners and channels. The nature of our work crosses many functional areas such as assortment Optimization, promotion, pricing and life cycle management as well as Finance. · This requires understanding our Merchandising/Retail business processes, managing complex data, developing mathematical/statistical representations as needed, and interpreting the results. *Job Requirement* · 10+ years experience in Business Analytics, data management, and Business Intelligence. · Exceptional knowledge of *Retail procedures and Merchandising processes is a MUST*. · Exceptional skills in data mining and quantitative techniques are essential. · This includes hands-on experience in *SQL data retrieval / manipulations,* and good Cognos knowledge. · Exceptional capability in developing compelling business cases and data-driven solution recommendation. · Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. · Ability to interact and lead on-site/off-shore teams. · Good knowledge of predictive modeling, regression, time series and clustering. · Knowledge of R, SAS or similar analytical tools. · Ability to learn quickly, think creatively and work in a fast pace environment. · *SAS, R or similar statistical tools * · Predictive Modeling / Predictive Analytics · Mixed Effect Regression Model · Time Series Analytics · Advanced Degree in Statistics, Analytics or Applied Mathematics · Data mining or quantitative techniques · Strong knowledge of Retail and merchandising process *Education* · Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or similar.
