*Kindly reply to **[email protected]* *Role: Network Engineer * *Location: Raleigh, NC* *Duration: 11+ months contract * *Mode of Interview: Inperson * *Responsibilities include* · Technical analysis and detailed documentation of the current “as-built” environments, both the application and network · Performing industry research to define/quantify a fully integrated solution and to assess the most appropriate technology applications to support business requirements · Serving as technical point of contact for wireless gathering, review, validation and documentation of the business, functional, technical requirements, architecture design and security architecture · Assisting with planning and execution of a product/system review, research, and procurement process (IFB development) · Developing and reviewing disaster recovery plans, system implementation plans, capacity plans and methodology deployment plans · Responsible for leading large-scale projects including technical architecture design, configuration, installation, and implementation, which includes LAN, SAN, WAN, servers, Virtualization, VoIP, WLAN, video, and Real Time Location Services (RTLS) · Reviewing and assisting the project manager with technical work breakdown structures and technical cost estimation · Developing business case cost benefit analysis for wireless and other technical infrastructures · Reviewing and recommending various application implementation and integration approaches (e.g. Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS), COTS with customization, in-house development, transfer systems, and a combination of the preceding) · Conducting feasibility studies · Creating technical documentation and training materials · Experience in hands-on technical consulting roles and working with and presenting to business clients where needed. · Extensive skills in “state of the art” technologies and an in-depth understanding of technical architectures, hardware platforms, and the North Carolina Statewide Technical Architecture · Developing wireless technical & non-technical solutions for supporting Business Process Reengineering *Knowledge and Experience * · Wireless Computing Planning, Design and Implementation · Wireless Multicast Design · Capacity Planning with QoS 802.1p · Network Performance Analysis · Enterprise Technical Project Management · Technical Proposal Development · Cost Benefit Analysis / Feasibility Studies Experience · RFID, RF Design and Propagation Analysis · Hospital IT Network Integrations (LAN, WAN, SAN, Servers, VoIP, Wireless, IPTV, Security, RTLS, Nurse Call, Cardiac Monitor, et al) · IT Network Disaster Recovery Planning · Public Safety (Viper) Radio System Experience · Project Management · Travel and reside in Morganton, NC (jobsite) 3-4 days / week Regards, *Sara Wilson* - Staffing Manager Direct : 646-340-0603 [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
