Position focuses on design, content migration and management in SharePoint
2013. It requires three years of creative experience working with
SharePoint 2010/2013, at least one year with 2013 and experience migrating
content from 2010 to 2013 preferred.



Notes from Intake Call:

·         Needs to be mainly focused on the front end piece of sharepoint
development (Design, Creative Process, HTML, Javascript)

·         Doesn’t want people that have been more backend (Doesn’t want to
see powershell heavily in their background)

·         Doing a lot of document management





DESIGN

·         Experience in collaborative design with business leaders for site
collection design including branding, graphics and navigation. Ability to
creatively consolidate and evolve those ideas into wireframes and
storyboards and then implement

·         Proven track record of designing and building interactive
SharePoint pages and sub sites with compelling design and user experience

·         Experience with Photoshop or similar tools to customize and
enhance graphics

·         Knowledge of SharePoint branding, layouts and out-of-the box
features

·         Ability to manipulate web parts and pages using JavaScript,
jQuery, CSS with Visual Studio/SharePoint Designer



CONTENT MIGRATION AND MANAGEMENT

   - Ability to effectively organize and present large amounts of content
   to end users

·         Experience with Metalogix or comparable tools

·         Experience designing, managing and implementing migrations of
content from multiple sources over a period of time

·         Familiarity with document management concepts such as retention
schedules, searching, metadata management, security and version control

SITE COLLECTION ADMINISTRATION

   - Experience designing and administering site collections
   - Experience developing SharePoint solutions consisting of  SharePoint
   sites, sub sites, lists/libraries, content types and web parts

·         Knowledge of SharePoint security model and experience
implementing and managing appropriate security



SOFT SKILLS

·         Self-starter able to lead design and technical work sessions;
skilled at setting and achieving milestones for content migration and  site
implementation

·         Strong interpersonal skills to work with business and IT to
refine site design, security, and migration process

·         Strong communication skills to keep team updated on project
progress and to document SharePoint environment

·         Enthusiastic to share knowledge with stakeholders on SharePoint
functionality and options.  This includes promoting and advising on
features, direction and best practices and then training IT team on
technical implementation.

·         Ability to respond to requirements as they develop; present and
value multiple alternatives for success



LIKE TO HAVE

·         SQLServer and BCS

·         Nintex workflows

·         Balsamiq or similar tool

·         Knowledge in leveraging Microsoft's suite of technologies for
providing Business Intelligence in SharePoint such as Microsoft SQL Server,
Analysis Services, Reporting Services, PerformancePoint, and PowerPivot.

·         Experience with SharePoint site analytics
