Requirements
o Conversion and migration of systems, data and clients
o User interface design, including navigation
o Internal and external interfaces, feeds, batch jobs, and other events
o Full project life cycle in waterfall and agile methodologies
o System solution models and alternatives, including IT vendor evaluations
o System and user Security concepts associated with web access & protocols.
o Software capabilities and limitations, e.g., performance and design
o Demonstrated Prototyping and use case creation experience
o Benefits and risks of automating and changing processes -- on own and
shared systems
o Translation of business rules into computer logic, tables, on-line
approvals, and maintenance
schedules
o Quality assurance methodology and Inspections
o Thoroughly scoped functional requirements and documentation deliverables
Expert knowledge of one or more IT platforms/technologies:
o Client/server
o IBM mainframe computing interfaces and concepts.
o Working knowledge of web user interfaces including
url, cookies, forms and http(s) protocol
o Data and database concepts and operations
Expert knowledge of current versions of the following products:
o Lotus Notes
o Microsoft Office Suite - (intermediate to expert level - Word, Excel,
Powerpoint)
o Microsoft Project
o Microsoft Visio
