Description:
Our client in Davie, FL has an immediate need for a Business Systems
Analyst with System Integration experience for a contract position.
This individual will act as liaison between the business and development
groups and be functional driver for system integration, upgrade and system
enhancement requests. Document current and future business processes,
leverage technology development and redesign business processes to improve
how client does business. Also, implement industry best practices with a
focus on owning business processes, identifying technical solutions, and
developing training materials to drive business process improvement for
optimal results.
Liaise with business partners to drive the definition and development of
new business processes through leveraging technology.
Provide strategic system analysis of business and user needs; create
business cases; document requirements; design solutions; create functional
specifications; maintain change documentation; create and execute test plan
and test scripts; create and coordinate communications; act as
implementation coordination for multi-functional initiatives within
assigned business process area.
Provide business process leadership, work plans, and feedback within
cross-functional teams and across multiple levels of the organization.
Maintain current business process maps
of functional specs for development activities including reports,
interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms
Participates in testing activities to ensure that the solution meets the
business requirements and that new functionality and enhancements do not
adversely affect existing functionality
Provide and direct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
Creates an environment that encourages information sharing, team-based
resolutions, cross-training, and process improvement to ensure
effectiveness, efficiency, and superior execution

Position Accountabilities:
Gather requirements, create functional designs, test and implement
technology development requests
Document “as-is” and “to-be” business process
Create process flow diagrams
Provide production support and operational maintenance
Data management

Minimum Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Computer Science or equivalent experience
Five years integrating business and technology in an enterprise environment
Advanced business analysis skills: business case development, business
process design, application usability, and structured testing
PS Query, SQL, TOAD, etc.
Business Applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Access, Visio, etc.
